Father Deogratias Rwegasira is a native of Tanzania, East Africa and a member of the Missionary Congregation of the Apostles of Jesus.  He is currently the Pastor of Our Lady of Mercy Catholic Church, Easton in the Diocese of Allentown, Pennsylvania, USA.   

He was trained in music composition at the Apostles of Jesus Major Seminary in Nairobi, Kenya and has composed more than 50 liturgical hynms both in English and in Swahili.

Fr. Deogratias has made two recordings with Running Streams Music, "The Divine Mercy Chaplet in Song" and "Lord We Adore You".  He was inspired to compose the music for these CD's as part of his ministry to lead people in prayer and to bring them closer to Jesus, the Merciful Lord.
